My Nursing HoursTesting
Version 1.1 is available on the App Store. Version 1.1 adds faster time entry, live hours with a clear overnight date, recent editable choices, and clearer Watch shift review. The version 1.0 feature reference below is historical. Invited testers should use their installed build’s notes for current checks.
Version 1.1
ReleasedWhat to test
- Record a Watch punch and confirm its original time appears on the phone. Accept one unchanged, edit another before accepting, and reject an accidental punch with a reason.
- Check that rejected punches appear in History, stay out of hours, and do not return after reconnecting the Watch.
- Use Siri to clock in and out. Confirm each saved punch and avoid recording another just because delivery is delayed.
- Type a new category and Save settings. Add a saved time clock in Settings while standing at its location.
- Import a schedule screenshot, check every date and shift code, change a category and save. Blank days and numeric staffing counts should not become shifts.
- Import punch records and a pay stub together. Edit each reviewed record and verify that totals remain separate after saving.
- Try overnight shifts, returning from lunch to another category, combining same-day shifts, and flagging missed breaks.
- Check startup time, the updated company logo, dark appearance, larger text and keyboard dismissal. Report any delay or blocked action.
Version 1.1 checks and TestFlight notes
Try typing four-digit times such as 0630 or 1900, or choose a time with the clock button. Check the live hours total and overnight end date, recent category and break choices, and the complete shift shown during Watch review or corrections.
Build notes identify when Google sample ads and Remove Ads sandbox purchases are enabled. Test purchases do not charge you. Check consent choices, closing an ad and saving work without a connection. The earlier App Store version 1.0 had ads turned off. Version 1.1 uses Google sample/test ads with real production advertising disabled. Public Remove Ads purchase availability has not been confirmed.
Version 1.0 feature reference
Work and corrections
Record work times, categories and breaks. Saved-clock punches require swipe confirmation; manual punches do not. New punches default to the last saved clock used. Correct saved punches with a reason; original information is retained with the correction. Manual entries use work intervals and optional break rows. Overnight entries show the next date. Same-day shift combining includes a review before saving.
Quick punches and Apple Watch
Siri and Watch capture clock-in and clock-out times for later detail review. Watch captures appear on Home and in Latest punches after phone receipt. Accept unchanged details directly; edited acceptance requires a reason and confirmation. Reject requires a reason and keeps a rejected History record excluded from hours. When rejecting a Watch punch, the choices name the actions, such as Only clock-out or Clock-in and clock-out. What will happen shows every punch in that shift with its time, category and Keep or Reject status before you confirm. If the punches must be rejected together, the screen explains why. Enter one required reason. Group confirmation lists the affected records, preserves the original shift in History and leaves other shifts unchanged. For a saved Watch clock-out, review the suggested existing open shift and its clock-in and breaks, adjust the actual clock-out if needed, and enter a correction reason for changed details. Accept confirms closing that existing shift without adding another clock-in. If no shift matches, you can accept only the timestamp without adding hours, or supply a missing clock-in. Pending conflicts open Review Watch punch; the app explains any remaining overlap or open-shift conflict and keeps the capture saved. The original Watch timestamp is retained. Pending delivery and validation conflicts need review; do not assume a Watch acknowledgement alone proves the shift is correct.
Breaks
Configure break labels, minutes and paid/unpaid status in Settings. Actual breaks belong in the punch log. Missed-break flags hold number missed × minutes in a separate bucket; they do not change worked hours or calculate pay.
Schedule
Enter scheduled shifts or import a screenshot with supplied hours. Review dates, year, categories and times before adding. Select dates manually when recognition misses a day. Scheduled hours do not count as worked hours.
Employer comparisons
Choose multiple Photos images or Files images/PDFs. Review recognized values and original pages for each record. Switch between reviewed records without losing edits. Save separate comparisons for separate sources; timecard and pay-stub totals are not summed. Recognition is an aid, not verification of payroll.
Settings and reminders
Use bottom navigation to leave Settings. Save settings adds a typed new category without a separate Add action. Add time clocks under Saved time clocks; capture GPS at the clock. Reminders are optional, permission-dependent and never punch automatically.
School and privacy
School keeps clinical hours, categories, skills and term progress separate from Work. Records and imported documents stay in app storage on your device; Watch delivery uses paired-device services. Read the privacy policy for optional location, backups and future advertising and purchase plans. The earlier App Store version 1.0 had ads turned off. Version 1.1 uses Google sample/test ads with real production advertising disabled. Public Remove Ads purchase availability has not been confirmed. TestFlight previews may enable Google sample ads and Remove Ads sandbox purchases; testers are not charged. Check the build notes for the current configuration.
Not included
Wage calculations and employer punch submission are not included. Version 1.0 targets iPhone with a Watch companion; native iPad support is outside the current scope.
Known issues and checks still open
Real-device Watch delivery, Siri, startup performance and nearby reminders still need tester acceptance. Report delayed delivery, missing or duplicate punches, or a reminder away from a saved clock. Screenshot recognition can miss entries or read values incorrectly; review every import. An Apple accessibility concurrency warning has been reproduced in a separate minimal app and reported to Apple; this does not establish the cause of any startup delay. Keep the app installed if reporting a saved-record problem.
