My Nursing HoursPrivacy Policy

Your hours, clinical notes, payroll images and saved time-clock locations are stored in the app on your device. App Store version 1.1 is configured to use Google sample/test ads, with real production advertising disabled. Google’s advertising and consent SDKs can still communicate with Google for consent and test-ad delivery, so the provider collection described below applies when these features are active. The earlier version 1.0 had ads and new Remove Ads purchase offers turned off. Public Remove Ads purchase availability has not been confirmed for version 1.1.

II.Imports and paired devices

Schedule screenshots and employer documents are read on your device for review before saving. Recognition can be incomplete or incorrect. The companion Apple Watch app sends saved punch captures to your paired iPhone using Apple’s device connectivity services. Keep both apps installed and review receipt on the phone. These features do not send your records to a 5280 Labs server.

III.Location and reminders

Location access is optional. When permitted, the app can save a time-clock location and use Apple's location and notification services for nearby reminders. Background reminders require the relevant permissions. Reminders never record a punch: you confirm the employer clock's accepted time. Saved GPS coordinates are not supplied by the app to advertisers. Manage clocks in the app and change permissions in device Settings.

IV.Advertising and Google's data collection

TestFlight builds labelled “test advertising” use Google's sample ads to check display, dismissal and consent. These builds do not request live advertising inventory. Google's SDK still communicates with Google for consent and test-ad delivery, so the provider data practices below also apply to this testing. App Store version 1.1 is also configured for sample/test ads, not live advertising inventory. This is the matched release configuration; it is not a claim that an ad displayed in every session.

The planned free version uses Google AdMob non-personalized interstitial ads at occasional task breaks when leaving History. Ads will not interrupt recording or saving. The app does not provide hours, clinical notes, payroll images or saved clock coordinates for targeting.

Non-personalized ads do not mean no data collection. When enabled, Google's SDK may receive an IP address and approximate location derived from it, device identifiers, advertising and interaction information, performance data and crash or diagnostic information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and SDK operation under its privacy policy and advertising policy. This collection is separate from your private hours and school records.

Live advertising is currently disabled. Before it is released, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated for the verified configuration, including tracking and consent choices. Non-personalized requests alone do not establish that Apple's definition of tracking is absent. The app must obtain any required permission before enabling tracking.

Where Google's consent system requires privacy options, an Ad privacy options control is available in Settings. Report an ad opens your mail app so you can review what you send; private app records are not automatically attached.

V.Purchases

The planned Remove Ads upgrade is a one-time Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payment and maintains purchase history under its policies. The app verifies ownership and provides Restore Purchases. 5280 Labs does not receive payment-card details or your Apple Account password. A verified ad-free upgrade removes ads and prevents new requests from the app's ad placements. Version 1.0 does not offer new Remove Ads purchases; Restore Purchases remains available. TestFlight builds that offer Remove Ads use Apple’s sandbox for test purchases; testers are not charged. Public Remove Ads purchase availability has not been confirmed for version 1.1 and remains subject to Apple review.

VI.Contact and support

If you choose to email support, the information you send is used to respond to your request. Please avoid unnecessary private clinical or payroll details. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@5280labs.app. The app has no 5280 Labs account or server copy of your recorded hours to delete.

VII.Changes

We update this page when the app's data practices change, including before live advertising is enabled. The date above identifies the latest revision.
